![]() Title: Users' right-click context menu isn't working as expected in the Microsoft Teams desktop client MS now has a service health advisory out for this issue - TM390278. We are also in the GCC if that helps so not sure if it is isolated to only GCC users. I am currently running Microsoft Teams Version 1.3 (64-bit). I have been able to duplicate this on other clients as well. While there are workarounds, it is something that is causing issues with staff. Not sure if this is causing the problem, however deleting the SETTINGS.JSON file and restarting the client will work for that session until of course you close it again, where the file is changed again upon closing.Ĭan someone at Microsoft look further into this? This seems like a bug that is now occurring in the last few releases. The paths within the file are totally different with extra slashes than from the initial file. Upon troubleshooting, I found that the SETTINGS.JSON file is being changed after the initial closing of the client. You can right-click a chat that is occurring within the window showing all of the avatars during a live meeting, however if you navigate to the same chat within the Chat listings, the right-click does not work. You can right-click fine if chatting within a Teams channel or if you pop-out the individual chat. What is interesting is that this only happens on the Chats with groups or individuals. However, if you close the client again, right-click functions no longer work. If you close and clear the Teams cache in %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams and restart the client, it will work fine. When right-clicking a chat field to receive a spell-checking suggestion or right-clicking to paste, no right-click menu appears. ![]() ![]() We are encountering an issue with the last few revisions of Teams.

![]() UT99 and Quake 3 also look vastly better with the texture filtering for the same reasons. Unreal 1's textures (while low res for today) were really high res for the time and it also was the first game to introduce Detail Textures (where detail is added to the textures up close). ![]() Unreal 1 is oldest game where I vastly prefer the filtering. This includes Doom, Heretic, Hexen, Duke3D, Ion Fury, Blood, Shadow Warrior etc etc.Įven for early polygonal games like Descent and Quake 1, I prefer Texture Filter OFF.įor post 1998 games, I prefer Texture Filtering ON. Ugly.įor sprite based games, I prefer Texture Filtering OFF because in such games, the resolution of sprites and textures is too low that they look like a blurry mess with it ON. Terminal Velocity is kinda funny with filtering on though, that mushy wobbly look, also those wonky lasers. I've never gotten GLQuake to work, but given how ugly the game is already I dread to think what it looks like with any form of filtering over it. Strangely unusually small textures versus its contemporaries is a feature it seems to share with certain video cards I may have mentioned. The N64 is otherwise one of the few cases where it makes sense though, because the average texture size had to be tiny and this arguably compensates somewhat. We call it 'Vaseline mode' and it sucks, it always did and it always well - don't tell the 3DFX brigade that though, they can get quite rabid.Īs someone who had an N64 in the 90s I've had enough texture filtering for a lifetime, but it's worse there because the N64's video output itself is always blurry so you get this extra layer on top and washed out colors, worse if you were stuck with the RF box as was the de-facto out of box experience at that time. I remembered that Valve released some updates for the Half-Life games last year, I looked at the notes and it turns out they FINALLY fixed the rexture resize issue so if you play the game nowadays you no longer have to worry about it:Īh. Of course you can fix this nowadays by inputting a simple console command but back in the day none of the GPUs on the market could handle that and those shitty looking textures were the ones the game filtered for ya.Įdit: Just putting this here so that I can share my joy. Look at this and tell me with a straight face that the texture filtering is at fault here: Half-Life is also a pretty bad example because the OpenGL renderer resizes certain textures and with that it makes the game blurrier by default even when you turn filtering off. Half-Life however is kind of a mixed bag: nowadays I turn texture filtering off when I play HL1 because I prefer the overall sharper looking textures but basically everything transparent looks worse because of those visible individual pixels. I would never turn on texture filtering for a 2.5D sprite-based game but it's pretty obvious that those titles were never designed with the feature in mind (and personally I view things like Blood's never finished 3Dfx implementation as desperate attempts to "keep up with the times" instead of them being artistic decisions). Developers also found certain solutions to ease up on the blurriness pretty quickly, features like detail textures appeared around 2000 to make stuff seem more detailed from up close. ![]() In those low resolutions 3D games easily looked better with texture filtering, it did wonders to smooth out the image (also: stuff like anti aliasing and anisotropic filtering wasn't really a thing for a while so really apart from the filtered textures the games still looked "messy enough"). Exactly, thanks for pointing these things out. ![]() I waited all day Tuesday but didn't get any call or text or anything. Not wanting to add to an already expensive situation, I UPS ground the ECU back to him (with insurance), which he received on Tuesday. His shop supposedly closes at 5pm, but I guess he clocked out early that day and my issue went unaddressed until the next day, leaving me pretty bummed out and frustrated.įriday I spoke to Chris and he said to send the ECU back, and that he'll cover "overnight" shipping back and give me some sort of refund. ![]() I then called him back around 4:30pm his time, but nobody picked up and my follow-up text went unanswered. He said he may have screwed up and that I should take the bike for a quick test ride and let him know if the code persisted. I spoke to Chris to let him know what I'm seeing (the form he sent back and the CEL on the bike). So a few hours later I called back, she answered, and then promised me Chris would call back, which a few minutes later he did. I called him, some woman on the phone told me he'd call me back, but he didn't. The checkbox next to disabling the exhaust servo wasn't checked. My first indication of that was actually when I looked at the form he sent back with the ECU, indicating what work he had performed. Specifically, he forgot to disable the exhaust servo so my bike threw the P1404 engine code and I had a permanent check engine light. Unfortunately that is where the happy and positive experience ended, as Chris got the tune wrong. I was very happy with that turn-around time. Chris received my ECU on Tuesday and I had it back in my hands on Thursday. It wasn't cheap, but I wanted my ECU back quickly, and more importantly in one piece. I paid for air shipping to ship my ECU, expedited processing by Chris, and then expedited shipping back, along with shipping insurance both ways. My initial call with him was a positive experience, he seems like a nice and friendly guy, so I decided to give him a chance and also support a local Southern boy. I decided to go with Moore Mafia this time around because Chris seems to know Suzukis, has a lot of happy customers and legit track records to prove his abilities. I have never used 2WDW for mail-in ECU tuning, but I have to extrapolate my previous experiences and assume it'd be good. Nels is a very nice guy who clearly knows his stuff, his staff was friendly and my appointments went according to plan both times. My previous two dyno tuning experiences were with 2WDW in person, as I lived pretty close to their shop. I want to share my experience with Moore Mafia for future searches and anyone asking which tuner to go with. ![]() Next, in the box enter a network URL of the TV channel that you’d like to watch. Simple Hand Signals for Dogs Teaching Sit Soon your dog will sit, lie down or come with just a motion of your hand. Once your dog reliably reacts to the silent hand gesture when you have the food, gradually remove the piece of food from the equation. For a while, you might use the verbal cue and the hand gesture alone half the time. ![]() While still using the food reinforcement gradually eliminate the verbal cue. You will have to repeat this many times to ensure your dog understands the association. When your dog performs the correct actions, immediately reinforce this behavior. To get started, pair the verbal cue with the hand signal (see below for examples of common hand signals). The next thing for you to do is create a new association between an unfamiliar verbal cue and the visual cue they already know. Let’s assume your dog already knows the association between a visual cue for “sit” and the action you want them to perform (sitting). Link a specific motion to a particular verbal cue, such as bringing a piece of kibble up past your dog’s nose and saying a specific verbal cue like “sit.” From there, getting your dog to react to the hand signal alone is a matter of practice and repetition. The goal with hand signals for dogs is to get your dog to associate a hand gesture with one of your verbal cues. The first thing to do before you begin with hand signals is to establish eye contact so you know you have their attention, then you can begin with hand signals. Here’s how to get started: How to Get Started With Hand Signals for Dogs There are several techniques in training your dog to follow hand signals. After a while you can test them to find out which approach works best.Īll you need to teach dog obedience hand signals are some positive reinforcements (dog treats or pieces of dog food kibble) and a little bit of know-how. More than that, teaching your dog hand signals can be useful when communicating in situations when your dog can’t hear you well.ĭogs are very adept at responding to human body language cues, so teaching them to follow verbal commands and nonverbal commands simultaneously can be highly beneficial.
